Salted Caramel Sauce


Ingredients
200 gms sugar
90 gms salted butter
125 ml cream
Vanilla
Salt

Method
Over high heat, place sugar in a pan and melt.
Watch it carefully.
As soon as it turns a light golden colour take it off the heat.
Pour in the cream. It will bubble up so be careful.
Return to heat, and let the sugar melt into the cream.
Add the butter.
Once the butter melts, take off the heat and add salt and vanilla.
Allow to cool.
Store in a sealed jar for upto one month.
To reuse reheat in the microwave till melted.
