Chocolate Mousse


Ingredients

Ready in 10 min flat!

Ingredients:
250 grams Dark chocolate
300 ml whipping cream
50 gms butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp caster Sugar (optional)

Optional flavourings:
Grated Rind of one orange
1 tablespoon Kahlua
1 tablespoon Grand Mariner
1 tablespoon whiskey

Equipment:
Rubber spatula
Electric beater
Piping bag (optional)

Method
Chill a large metal bowl in the freezer.
Over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter together. If adding any flavouring add to this.
Keep aside to cool.

Pour cream and vanilla into the chilled bowl and begin to whisk the cream till it has thickened and formed soft peaks.

Keep the whipped cream in the fridge. Just before serving fold together the chocolate and cream.

Pipe in to serving glasses and serve immediately.

Do not chill.
