VERMICELLI Recipe | Indian Sweets Recipe by Sababd |
| INGREDIENTS | 200 gms Vermicelli
250 gms Sugar
50 gms Dry Coconut Powder
500 ml Milk
50 gms Vanaspati
10 gms Kaju (Cashew Nut)
10 gms Kismis (Raisins)
Whole Elaichi
Pinch of Colour | METHOD | 1. Fry vermicelli in vanaspati till golden brown.
2. Drain and set aside.
3. Boil milk in a vessel, with elaichi, add vermicelli and cook on low flame till milk is absorbed.
4. Add sugar, colour and coconut powder.
5. Stir for 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Decorate with kaju and kismis.
NOTE: Apply a Little Oil in a flat plate and set halwa. Cut into different shapes after half an hour. |
