We r trying for the baby for 2 yrs.I have a regular cycle and my spouse semen analysis also good.
Last week , i had some vaginal ultrasound and HSG ultrasound. Doctor told that there is a abnormal tissue or polyps in the lining of the uterus.May be this will affect my pregnancy possibilities.To remove this abnormal tissue, She asked me to do some surgery --- Hysteroscopy D&c..Next week i have the doctor appointment to do this surgery.

Any body undergone this surgery? Is there any side effects? After have this surgery, is it increase my pregnancy rate?Plz help me. rose replied. Side effects of D&C are almost none: the medical or surgical procedure is virtually risk free, and complications following a D&C are rare. Possible complications include, in recently pregnant women there is the small risk of making a hole in the uterus (uterine perforation) because the wall of the recently pregnant womb is very soft. sometimes tissue may be left behind (incomplete evacuation). This tissue is usually passed without complication, but increased bleeding or infection may require a repeat procedure.
the risks of a D&C in non-pregnant women is much lower, although there is still the small risk of the uterus being perforated.
I think it deffently increase ur pregnency rate only polyps causing the trouble for ur pregnency
