hi friends,
i' ve been diagnosed positive for tb in uterus, its very disheartning. my gynae suggested not to concieve for atleast 3 months, its already 4years of my marriage n to wait for 3 more months. i' m really loosing heart. the medicines r not suiting me,it upsets my stomach. have u lso gone thru same thing, how long it takes to concieve aftr that, any side effects of these medicines. pls help

I am outside India so whn I do visit India I might talk to that person - Thanks for the info. I went for a routine scan cos period was slightly irregular they found something and did laproscopy and got the sample out and cultured it and it came positive for TB - thats what they told me . But I have not heard anyone say tht TB does not need medication - any form of TB needs. Anyway my thing happend two years back, but I am still having some cysts etc which is an issue now. nammu replied. Hi..what test confirmed TB in uterus? For me my gynae who was planning for ivf told same thing by doing DNA PCR test..Later I sent the reports to various docs and seek second opinion..I understood..DNA PCR is only 50% true..RNA PCR test is a little better than this..LAter I came to know that I donot need any treatment for TB. I had a lot of side effects during medication - arthritic pain, skin allergies etc. But dont lose heart - what ever happens is for good - good it was detected soon. I have been trying to concieve since 8 months now - I am just being patient. I do get restless at times. But I guess the more we run behind something further away it gets - so be strong!
