I' ve been pregnant once which ended in a missed abortion at 11 weeks.That was in May 2006 and I conceived during the second month of trying on that cycle.It took me a year to recover emotionally from the loss and we' ve been trying again since this May.My periods vary between 28 to 35 days every month and so we' ve been having intercourse every other day from days 11 to 25 after my period.It' s been 6 months of unsuccesful attempts now and I am becoming really desperate. I' m 25 yrs old and my husband is 29. I don' t know why it' s taking so long this time.I' ve read that couples are usually advised to try for a year before going to them, could someone help me out with this. Is it wise to visit a doctor now since we' ve been trying since 6 months with no success. We' ve been married for 2yrs now and it' s heart-breaking when everyone asks us why we are still just a couple. Twinkle replied. Hi,
First and foremost you need to really relax and not start getting too worked up dear.
I am really sorry about what happened with you,but remember that also means you will get pregnant again.
Next time somebody asks you about your pregnancy just put it off by saying that you are not going to try for another 4 yrs or something.
Most importantly you are just 25,so don' t get too stressed about this issue.Try to take a break(from babymaking routine) in the true sense i mean mentally and just enjoy yourselves for a little while.
We had been trying for 4 yrs and finally when I felt that Its of no use I let go and believe me that very month I got pregnant.
Sometimes stress can contribute in delaying your conception.Take a breather it will happen.
And what people tell you simply ignore them,I know it hurts, but don' t get upset when people prod and tresspass your privavcy,thats what they do,thats what they are for.
I had friends who knew that we were trying and still would keep pointing it out every time we met,or there was a relative who would tell my hubby how to go about the whole timing thing and when we should try etc......
