hi,my daughtr is 6yr old ,she is k2 ,now a days she dont study much,she always draw pictures n colour it.she plays with her friends too.we will be going back to india,before that i want her to learn some words n also math,becoz the workload will be more there.she got fascinated to all fancy like applying lipstick,n fixing her hair on her own which looks messy,she has short hair,she wants to grow it ,just becoz all her classmates have long hair.my husband is yelling at me,if she gets used to all fancy she cannot concentrateon studies,but iam not a fancy mom,she has some friends here with whom she plays,is it that influnce?how can i tell her n make her understand that being fancy is not imp,only studies are.pls help me. I guess u are facing a problem which almost all the mothers face having daughter of this age, I also ahve a daughter same age and she also behaves the same, but i think it is natural as I am very simple and doesnt believe in all this so she always complains and wants to look good, and i think that is true also, let them enjoy this age , anyways later they will understand and its always better to let them do in what they are intrested, i did one thing i have fixed up the time for doing fancy things with her and after then another hour for learning and sticked in her room, u can also try this may be it can help.
