Due Date Club March 2007:Our Baby Aashi has arrived!

Hi everyone,

This is Ajit. My wife Mamta gave birth to a baby girl on 2nd March. Both Aashi and Mamta are doing fine. The baby was delivered normally. Since Mamta is recuperating, I take this opportunity to announce the birth of Aashi.

Aashi came 18 days early. I was in Delhi when the news came and I had to pack my bags within a couple of hours to be with Mamta. Aashi came before I could reach Gwalior. I wish I could be there.

Though I couldn' t actively participate on this board, I always read all the messages posted.

CONGRATS to Nila, Chittu, DP and Ashwani. Mamta will join this board as soon as possible.

We wish to thank everone on this board who have really supported us thoughout this pregnancy.

Our best wishes to everyone. We are very eagerly waiting for the BIG news!

Our Love to the Newborn babies and take care everybody.

Congrats for becoming proud parents of a lovely baby girl. Guess, this is the first post from a male member on the March board. Mamta, I wish you a smooth and easy recovery and do update us on your birth story. And Ajit, I am sure you must be taking time off to enjoy with your family.

Heart congrats to you and Mamta on the arrival of you lil one. Hope baby and mom are doing great.But do not worry ,even though you missed the birth,you are going to cherish every moment you' ll be spending with your baby.Enjoy your time with your Aashi and Mamta.Post story and pics whenever you can.

BTW, it was so sweet of you to update us on the birth of your lil princess. Its even more exciting to read that you read our posts on IP and keeping up with births .Wish I could get my dh to do that!!!!

what all care has to b taken post delivery for mother 7child?
Like what all acre about food to b eaten/ not to b eat..
i know one that the mother shud not put her hands in cold water or step outof the home for 40 days as the muscels bcum weak & need time to come back to normal..

Better to use prenatal-post natal tablets... as well B complex for 6 months to 1 year... use a cloth tie up around belt area..eat properly...take rest...that' s all you can do...

did you take any Epidural during delivery? some people exp b' z of that...if so see the Chiropractor..

burp

Priya is he getting burp? Some times it will take 10-15 mts to get burp...if they don' t get burp they will vomit...if you over feed then also they will vomit...

other questions is vomiting or spitting? lots of diff bet them..

next thing... if he don' t get burp put him on his tummy for 1 mt... he will get burp immediately... but never leave him o... - Raja [View Message]

oh...i had the same problem...u' ll be alright jst avoid food whch cause constipation. apply sucral ano tube before and after motion and eat lot of papayya. add kali mirch to ur food instead of red chillies.and atlst 15 min walk daily.

soak one almond everynight , next morning rub it on stone or silbatti with onboiled cow milk and apply the paste on baby bace and body, u' ll se the changes within one week.... - preeti [View Message]
