Name: hello Hi all

I had my OB visit today.It didn' t go too well.I refused the internal exam today and my OB didnt take it right.And she was asking if I was doing my perinneum massage 4 times a day for 15-0 mins.When I said no,she was cross again and told me not to hold her responsible for any cuts or tears.I simply didnt like the way she told me those things.There is only so much a doc can control in her patients and she can' t yell at me for not doing things that has no medical requirement.I asked her if she would induce me early coz of GD,she again said she' d know if she has to induce or not only if she does an internal(which I refused)What the hell?
It was a total disaster right from the start and all the way back home I was thinking if I need to change my doc.I can' t imgaine her being bossy and controlling me on my delivery table.This was my first visit with her in all of my pg.I got to see her only twice before -during both of my u/s.I was seeing the midwife in practice all this while and love that lady.Ughhh..so much stress towards the end..

Hi Guys ..
Very sorry to hear abt your OB ..what r u planning to do ? Anyways take care dear ..
My case is become more tensed day by day.This Fridayi cud hardly feel the baby move from the morning ..so got a bit tensed and went to the hospital , the heartbeat was fine but the movements were less so the GYN told me the sooner she takes out the baby its better ,I m franatically trying to count the movements daily ..How abt u guys ??? Do u frequently feel the baby' s movements ? Looks like wud go have a c-section soon ..Wish me good luck guys :)

are with you.I really hope and pray all turns out well for you.Though we all hope for a vaginal delivery,I think we all should be prepared for other modes of delivery as well considering the safety of our babies.So be strong and courageous and your lil one is soon going to be with you healthy as it can be.All the best.Update us when you can.

My update

don' t worry sometime we have to hear to ourselve. My doc is insisting for last 15 days tp take leave but I am still working. I don' t feel tired or uncomfortable at work.
I am getting periods like pain now adays ..is it Ok or something to get concern about. My doc has not done internals till now although I want to get it done..to remove my uncertanity. This is my secound one and really I want to give birth ASAP. My first one was born 3 days past due date.

Hi Neetu

Listen to your body.If you are not tired or uncomfortable ,you can very well work.My colleague was working till the last evening and went into labor the next morning and had a short labor of 4 hrs (first baby ,that too).So its better to keep yourself occupied than just waiting for the baby to come.
If youve completed full term,start walking long distances,do the curb walking (one foot on the curb and one on ground),try castor oil and intercourse.I think they may help trigger labor.
Even I get menstrual cramps everyday and Im hoping my body is getting ready for the big day.

My Update

Hi,

I too had the doc visit on saturday and had my internal examination done. She said that the baby has started to descend down and just entering the pelvic cavity (though head not fixed completely) and my cervix is 50% effaced. Have my appointment again on this saturday.

Hello! Dont know why your obgyn is insisting on a perinneum massage! It can make many people uncomfortable and definetly she cannot force it on you. If you like the midwife then, why dont you consider her for your delivery?

How about the other guys and their updates?

for those words of comfort.I tried it several times and gave up coz it was making me uncomfortable very much.I told her that and she says healing from cut can be worse!!! What a sunshine she is!!! There is only so much I can remember everyday -like the kegels and squats and my walks and this massage is the last one on my priority.Honestly ,how many of us are doing the massage everyday?And all those who did ,were they able to avoid a cut or a tear.Whats the big deal on this?Sorry AVB,I really had to vent on this.Hope you didnt mind.
My practice has 4 OBs and a midwife.I get whoever is on call that day.Im hoping all goes well.

Better to use prenatal-post natal tablets... as well B complex for 6 months to 1 year... use a cloth tie up around belt area..eat properly...take rest...that' s all you can do...

did you take any Epidural during delivery? some people exp b' z of that...if so see the Chiropractor..

Priya is he getting burp? Some times it will take 10-15 mts to get burp...if they don' t get burp they will vomit...if you over feed then also they will vomit...

other questions is vomiting or spitting? lots of diff bet them..

oh...i had the same problem...u' ll be alright jst avoid food whch cause constipation. apply sucral ano tube before and after motion and eat lot of papayya. add kali mirch to ur food instead of red chillies.and atlst 15 min walk daily.
