my last lmp was on 21st dec 05 and now my gynac says that ur due is on 27th sep and the sonography reports say mid october i am really confused and worried pls help and i am in my 30th week and not showing also i have totally put on 8 pounds pls help........

Hi,
The docs initially calculate due date by adding 9 months and 7 days to your LMP I guess in ur case it will be on or around 28th sept(40 weeks for total pregnancy). But at times sonography gives variation of +- 2 weeks which is okay and acceptable by docs. In any of the case u can deliver anytime after 37th week if it is nor premature labour..baby is said to be ready by 37th week..And yes if dont worry much for putting weight till the time ur doctors feels everthing is okay. I also did not gain much ..but u shud try to eat more of non-veg in case u are a non-veg specially chicken breasts .. that what my doc suggested and it helped me to increase weight. I guess 4-6 pounds a month is good.. thats what I am gaining at the moment and my doc looks satisfied .
