How you doing? I am 29 weeks. I had been for my 28 to 30 weeks USG on August 3, 2006, the Doc said all was well with the baby but blood flow to the uterus was a little less than what it should be and this was indicative of developing High BP in later months. In the same breath he added that it was nothing for me to worry yet and that my Doc. (Gynae) wud be able to address this.

What I am wondering is, and I will check this with my Doc. As well, how can blood flow to the uterus be less if the blood flow to the baby is normal? Wud these not be interlinked in the sense that both shud be fine or both not fine?

Please could you clarify.

if possible get your clotting factor checked and/or on the safe side get baby aspirin treatment. This will help thinning blood if this is the reason of reduced blood supply to uterus.
Do you sleep on sides or back, if on back avoid it.

as long as baby is on target you don't need to worry. It's that nutrients will be absorbed from your blood and the more is the supply better the nutrients for baby.
