my LMP is 16 april 2007.
i got married on 29 april.just after my marriage,i conceived.yesterday was my u/s appointment.
u/s had done and result shows the measurement of fl,ac and all.and tells that i m 19 weeks 3 days pragnant.but according to reality,as i got married on 29 april,it should be 17 week.i m very confused.is it possible that age of my baby is 17 weeks and u/s shows it 19 weeks.pls reply.is my baby is over size or over weight or growing fast.could it be a problem....

As SV explained it is normal to have different dates depending on so many factors. Like in my yesterday' s appointment they said I am in 21week 6day of my pregnancy but baby is in 21week 1days of pregnancy and it was confusing...when I asked doctor he said that height weight and other factor decide baby actuals and mom is based on LMP. So stay cool and enjoy marriage and baby.

First of all congratulations on becoming pregnant & welcome to the board. Actually, the answer of your question is very simple & easy. Need not take tension. The age of embryo or your baby is measured from the first day of your last mensural period. So accorging to it, if your period was on 16 april then the gestational age would be 19 weeks which is correct. It doesn' t not depend on the period of conceiving.
So don' t worry, your baby is not growing fast. According to the calculation everything is normal with you & your baby. I found an article on the net, hope this would be more help.
