Im in my fifth month now..and so far have had no probelms with nausea, vomiting, constipation..or anything for that matter..I have started have oozing of milk since the 4th month from my breasts..and was asked by my earlier gyncecologist to take a scan as she said there was a possibility something could be wrong with my baby..but the scan was normal. I have changed my gynecologist now since the last month..and when I told this doctor about the oozing she prescribed me Susten tablets 250 mg and asked me to continue till the eighth month..but when I looked up on the internet..it shows that Susten is usually not recommended in the second and third trimester of any pregnancy and it could lead to many problems..also she has precribed me Troycal 250 which are calcium and vitamin D3 tablets and Zinfe-SR which are sustained release hemantic and zinc capsules with vitamins. Please give me advice as to whether these tablets are all safe..and if anyone has taken or is taking the same...I do not intend taking the Susten tablets...also she has asked me to take a scan every month until the last month to see the growth of the baby..is this advisable. sweta replied. I have completed my 20th week today.. I am still taking susten 100 mg.. Actually I am taking susten from earlier phase of my pregnancy.. During the first three months I was taking susten 250 mg and now after starting fourth month, my gyn has asked me to take susten 100 mg...

She had told me to stop susten last week but then again she told me to take it till sept 15th.. and then I have to stop it...

I have also heard from fellow board members that susten is not good but I trust my doc and as she has told me to take it so I am taking it.. but reading messages like yours, I wonder..
