Due Date Club March 2007:Hi girls

Happy to see your replies.

Yes, Iniyan is keeping us busy day and night. My hubby took leave for a week, which got over today. So he is back to office. Somehow i managed today. I think the coming weeks will be little tough.

HELLO, good that you are busy with your shopping. Then regarding the baby' s weight, in the 35th week it should be somewhere aroung 5.25lbs. You can see the chart online.

SHREE, happy to hear from you. As HELLO, mentioned you should definetely discuss the c-section thing with your doctor. The baby being of less weight will only increase the chances of normal delivery.

AVB, Thanks for the big hug:) Definetely it is lot of encouragement when your husband is by your side. AVB, I remember you mentioning that your hubby will be joining you in march. Will he not? Don' t worry about managing labour, it will come naturally to every mom at the final moment.

BTW, when the IP board was down, i was wondering how to contact you all. In the feb board there is a group. It is common. So if possible do join in that, so that we all can be in continous touch.

warm regards,
nirmala

Hello,

Great to know that you are managing things well. Sorry for this late reply. How is Iniyan doing? Will try to join the feb board group. My husband will be trying his best to come in March (that was our plan)...but his \" holidays\" are kind of limited so he is planning to come as soon as he hears the good news. So I will have to manage without him.Looking at all you guys managing alone, I sometimes think that I should have stayed back. Anyways, I have another 22 days to go for the D Day. My doctor said that she would wait only for 3 days after my due date and will try inducing me if I dont go into natural labour. So thats news from my end.

Take care
AVB

Hi AVB,

Nice to hear from you.Iniyan is fine and keeping us both on our toes:)

AVB, everything has its pros and cons. So cheerup. Since your hubby is coming after delivery tune your mind accordingly so that the process will be smoother and happier. Further i´ m positive that you will go into labour on your own.

Hope to see you in feb board too.

warm regards,
nirmala

Hello, Shree and Nila, thanks for your replies.

Eventhough managing alone is difficult, day by day I' m gaining experience. We had the 2 week checkup for INIYAN today. Not only is he back to his birth weight but he has gained .3pounds, which is a good sign that we are dealing things in the right direction.

then regarding the tear, i had a episiotomy as he was nearly 8 pounds. I' m not sure whether it was a second or third degree tear. Initially it was very difficult. Now the pain is less and I think it has started to heal. so i have started doing certain works at home too.

Then as far as food goes I' m not following the strict pathiya sappadu. But anyway i' m avoiding the spicy and gassy foods. I' m intending to follow this till he completes the first month.

Hope you all are fully prepared to welcome your little ones. All the best.

warm regards,
nirmala
