hi all, i' ve enough breast milk, but my nipples are not pointed. so my baby (2 days old) prefers drinking from bottle than from me. please help wat can be done reg this!!!

Hi Mayflower,
try using the breast shells in between the feedings and u can also try using the breastpump, with the use of pump eventualy your nipples would come out.... and yes dont stop feeding your baby coz babies breastfeeds not nipple feed, he may take time but would definately get used to it..... u can also try using the breast shields, which r artifical nipples made from silicon. just wet it and apply, they stick to the breast, it help the babies in latching on!(sure to work!!!)

thanks for the reply leena, i tried using nipple shield for 1 day and from next day i was insistently trying to feed him normally .. now its fine
