i am in my 25th week of pregnency and since few days having backache as well as ache on my right side of the body.i dont know why its happening.

Cannot sleep properly at night.i feel movements of my baby..sometimes very much sometimes less.Little bit of swelling has also started on my feet. i hope everything is normal because im getting worried as to why I am having pains.Please help. aarthi replied. hi

backache is due to weight gain in ur stomach.if u sleep on to ur right u might get pain its always better to sleep on to ur left as the baby will get more oxygen n to keep the baby away from the liver.swelling in the feet may occur in many women during pregnancy-reduce salt intake n always keep ur leg in an elevated position n don't stand for a long time continuously.disturbed sleep may be because u r thinkinking more about the baby or may be u get up to urinate in the night-if so avoid water intake an hour before u go to bed but make sure u take plenty of water during the day.

Everything that you have mentioned is very normal with pregnancy. I'm sure almost every single person feels at least one of the discomforts you have mentioned (if not all) at some point or another.

I'm now in the 28th week and I too feel pain on right side and am having a very disturbed sleep. I guess these are just things we have to get a little used to. There's nothing to worry about. The pain in your back may be due to the weight gain. Try putting up your feet every couple of hours to reduce the swelling. I'm working full time so never get a chance to do that during the day but I've heard a lot people recommend it.
