hello ! replied. kicks me all the time in my baldder and my cervix. That makes me go the loo even if I just came out.Ive never felt her in my ribs or the upper part of my tummy. The max I feel is just above the belly button. And this one wants me lie down all the time on my left.I have sciatica so I cant sleep for more than an hour on my left and when I sleep on my right, she starts wriggling and does all sorts of acrobats to get me on my left lol..Now its more of pushing and moving around than kicks.

nope, he doesnt, he hasnt since we got married! and i m not workin, wat will i do the whole day?! and i feel guilty, u knw, he has to wrks and then come home and do chores at home too? taht's not fair..
i found lamaze class useful coz, they taught my husband how to be supportive and coach me during delivery. we go thru so many things during pregnancy and they can only watch, but during delivery, they ccan help!! lamaze class taught him to massage me, encourge me by sayin things like " its almost over" " u r doin good" etc
wen they show the video, jus avert ur eyes or step out.. max is 15 mins..
but everythin else is so informative!
for eg: the doc says, " this is the problem, i m goin to use this to do this" u dont panic coz u are familiar with those terms..so can jus say, " ok doc" and go back to ur contractions..

hi Purnima,
thanks for the tips. thankfully my boobs havent itched much yet :-)
yes i apply creams and then now i apply a oil called 'Bio-oil' which is meant for dehydrated skin (recommended for pregnant woman). it does do wonders, doesnt itch much now.
i am too scared to go for the classes, just for that reason.. the videos.. i am thinkign maybei will skip that class and just go on my big day and experience whatever comes. i know i sound childish, but i dont wnat to be thinkin gabout that video since the day and watch and panic... heh heh. and i agree with you, i have the same policy with you that our body is catered for child birth and it will all happen as it has to and thats why we go to good gynos and they will help us out.
do you do the cooking at home or does yoru hubby do it? now i am soo tired i love someone else cooking for me.. i cant wait until my mom comes.
Take care..

Hi Purnima,
My scan at 30 weeks showed single chord around baby's neck. Thats the only worry on my head now.
About work, yes, it is difficult to travel to office, sit for 8 hours, concentrate and finish the work. Its tedious. We will not have the sharp mind which we had earlier. So it is kind of hard situation. But somehow, managing.
Good to know that your mom would be there by Feb 10th. And on shopping, I havent purchased anything so far. Will do it in Feb.

Hi Purnima,
You are lucky you are staying at home. Enjoy all the time you can now, cos everyone tells me after the baby we will be too occupied to even sit and watch a whole movie :-) Is this your first baby? For me this is my first.
I am still working. I plan to work till Feb 17th. (4 weeks before the due date).
I travel to work by train (About 45 mins one way). My boss and colleagues at work are very understandable and friendly, therefore its much easier for me. Even if i look a bit tired they all wil ask me ' are you okay? u want ot go home'? etc etc. Yes frequent toilet visits can be embarrasing sometimes, but now i am at a stage where i dont care what others think and go like every 30 mins atleast! ;-)
My work load is much less than before (And i realise my speed of doing things has also reduced!!), so its going alright so far. There are some days where I wake up and find it had to get dressed or move out of the door. but once i am out of the house I am in 'work' mode. :-)
Hope I will manage like i have so far until the 17th.
Talking about shopping, I started last weekend and my I also have a problem since we also dont know the gender of our baby. so I am getting stuff which are like in cream, yellow, light green, light purple colours!

Hi Purnima, Veena,
My due date is Mar 17th, just one day behind you :-)
Well I feel big, and my tummy is really low, which makes me think whether the baby is going to come to the real world soon. My feet swell if i stand up for a long time. I have itchy thighs, and arm. Do you also have the same symptoms? I am told thats due to increased level of hormones. Well 8 weeks to go, so time will fly I guess. :-) I am going to work till mid feb, then my mom is coming so after that I think i will start the real count down.
Love to hear of what you are experiencing right now.

Hi Purnima, Nila,
My little one also does the same as mentioned by you guys. My little one kicks like anything especially when i am into some serious discussion at office. It makes me laugh leaving my colleagues wondering whats happening to this lady :).
At night, sleeping on right gives much pleasure for my baby. Kicks like anything on the mattress.
So, Purnima as we share the same due date (march 16th) hows your pregnancy progressing? How do you feel ? I just cant wait to see the little one. I am counting days.
