Due Date Club October 2006:Hi Archie I am back with more details
2006-07-07
Name: gauri

1) good news, my Rheumatoid levels in the blood test came negative. All the nurse said was that the Rh Factor was 9 and it is good to go. I am not sure what that means.
2)Yes, I got the TSH levels checked...my T4 is normal, but Total TSH is high....? I am not sure what taht means again. I did tell the nurse that I feel very anxious for nothing...can't fall asleep because my heartbeat is so fast...we have a fetal heartrate monitor and my HB comes as 112, I have my appt in two weeks.
3)I don't want my amnio levels low, so I am drinking more water...8 glasses. It is so hot...I don't want to get dehydrated. I am taking prenatals from two days...I do go for Bowel Movements (BM) in the morning...then it is again...bothersome. so I think if I take prenatals...I can't seem to have full BM, but if I skip it...I go about 6 times.

Hands pain remains constant...the numbness also in the right hand. I hope it goes away with the pregnancy later.

Thanks Archie!

Gauri,
Glad to note no RA.
High TSH may suggest some tendency towards hypothyroidism, but if the hot flashes are too much to take it an that TSH levels are not marginally high but real high then a medication will set all in frame.

8 glasses of water is fine.

Do you know your HB is fine without prenatals, if it's the case and that baby weighs what it should be with gestation then you could choose to take separate pills that has low iron or iron free mutivitamins.
