Hi Archie,
My gyn referred me to a skin specialist and after observing the rashes, the skin sp suspects it might be PUPPS. He has given me polaramine and Incidyl. Caladryl to apply on the itchy areas. Is my baby safe? I hope it will get cured.
What other precautions should I take? Please advise..

Oceanbaby,
you should get treated regardless how you feel with medication. Because pupps can continue bothering if not controlled on time and that's bad and uncomfortable for you. I know some cases who started in the 20th week and had to bear with it throughout the term. Not scaring but trying to put things in perspective. YOur dermatologist knows your pregnancy and would have thought before prescribing. I remember someone used caladryl and provided temporary relief.

It get more when the skin is dry.
