Hi all
I'm new here and this is the first time i'm posting a message. I'm in my 23rd week and my total weight gain till now is 3 pounds. my doc does say that i shud gain more but she hasnt said anything alarming to me yet. All my tests so far have been good. I'm showing ok..not too much though.but i guess its ok for starting of sixth month. Please tell me, is there anything i need to worry about for the less weight gain...and what can i do to gain more weight...like is there a specific food i can eat?...thanks

Hey Chetna,

Dont worry abt the weight..if your reports are fine.. i also didnt gain until my 7th month and initially even lost like 8 kgs..my doc was also lil worried and always insisting me on eating more..but still i have read and even my mom says that till the tile babys grwoth is fine u shud be fine.. uf ur u/s and other tests are normal dont worry and relax..just this month which is my 7th month ending i gained like 5 pounds..for the first time in entire pregnancy// so relax and chill..take care

Thanks a bunch nidhi..i thought no one would reply to my mail....i had an appointment with my doc this week n she said i am measuring abt 3 cms less than what i shud in 26th week..so she is going to do a sonogram after 3 weeks...i hope everything is fine....:(
