Hi All, am in my 22nd week, and previously never had any kind of facial skin problem, but lately I have started getting pimples, which don't vanish on their own. The longer I have them the longer its stays. I need to dig them out, otherwise the skin hardens and the lump just sticks there. And when I pick it out, it bleeds and ofcourse a white hard substances comes out. When it dries the mark remains. The second pimple I got I did not wait that long, I dug it out on the third day, the mark is less visable than the previous one. Please advise what to do.

Hi,

I am at week 22 and have noticed the same thing too. Acne seems to be worse after I got pregnant than when I was a teenager.

Trying to wash my face at least with water every now and then.

Hopefully things will get better later as Archie says.

Hi! I am in my 22nd week too and have been getting a lot of acne especially on my face and neck. Don't touch or poke those acne. Try to wash your face twice a day. If you are in the US then try Neutrogena oil-free acne face wash. This product really works.My acne has not gone completely but it has drastically reduced. And don't worry this face wash is safe to use during pregnancy.

it's absolutely normal to have acne during pregnancy. don't worry mostly they will fade after childbirth.
