Dear All,

I need help in making up my mind regarding whether t stay at Gurgaon where I am currently to deliver my baby or go to my mother's house at Pune for the same. My mother has well assured me that if stay at Gurgaon she will come and stay with me from end august for as long as i need her. but on the other hand my husband is urging me to go away to Pune, coz he feels care may be better there. I am confused coz, i do not know at what stage wud it be advisable to change my doc and also if am going to pune when wud it be safest to travel amd 22 weeks currently.
God please help!

I am overly confusion on your husbands suggestion.
Gurgoan is no different than Delhi with facilities then why is Pune better in his views, especially when your mother will be there from the 8th month until you both need her.

Honestly, there seems no reason to make switch of cities. If you must feel not comfortable with present OB then have it changed anytime now. It's better to be in the same hand who has handled pregnancy from the beginning and you have tuned patient-Dr. relation. It would be a new efforts in new city with totally new Dr. Many times it's not only city but in the city two Drs. have varied opinions and method to deal with pregnancy. It's more complicating in India mainly because they don't have way to track if the Drs. do follow exact guidelines like in Western Countries do.

personally, I think having spouse and mother would be piece of cake while in last stages of pregnancy.

is it that your husband got scared of labor and you going through more discomforts in the last stages of pregnancy, it's possible for some spouses to feel agony seeing wife going through like this. But tell him this is for the best cause and is a phase will over with childbirth. He will be happy down the line that he was there with you while you were in labor, he would have nothing to miss about first look on baby be proud of you when he will see how you cope up with labor.
