How are you all doing? Hope everyone is feeling better and eating better than the previous month.

I had my visit today, everything is fine and I have gained abt 6 pounds which my Gyn is really happy abt. We were fortunate today to hear the baby' s heart beat, it was sooooo fast and was a amazing experience. We all were stunned by listening to those tiny lil heart beating so fast. The Gyn was saying to my daughter that it sounds like a pony galloping in my tummy and it must be a boy!!!!! I thought if the heart beat is high it will be girl:) My hubby was happy to hear that it might be a boy, but my daughter wishes for a girl and myself.....I' m happy with both. If it' s a boy it will be like complete family, a boy and a girl and if it' s girl my daughter will have a very good company all thru her life and also we can gang up on my hubby:) ha ha ha.......!

I had my AFP test for the downsyndrome and stuff. The nurse asked if I wanted to take the test today and after I agreed she preapred all the paper work. So just after my check up was done with gyn, went to the lab and gave blood for the test. Hoping and praying that evrything shud be fine. For my itching and irritation she prescribed a vaginal cream for 3 day which will reduce the yeast infection that causes the itching. Other than that nothing special, my next appointment is august 23rd and my major scan, I' ve scheduled on aug 18th.

The Gyn seemed to be very pleasing and comfortable. I' m really happy today as ervything is fine. Hope everyone of you get to listen to the heart beat soon. Have a safe and wonderful pregnancy!

So girls how many of you are gonna find out the gender of the baby? Let' s share abt that!

How are you doing? WOW 15 weeks and 2 days, great! So are you able feel any movements yet?

Don' t worry abt some \" so called friends\" . Just hang out with real friends who care abt you and share things with you and can help you out when needed. You can share anything you want and I' ll be happy to keep you company at any time.

About the chinese calender.. hope everybody knows that according to the chinese, they calculate the age differently then everybody else in the world... for eg. if you are born in the year 1980 then at the time of your birth only, you are one year old.. so now in the year 2007, you will be 28 years as compared to 27 years, which we would normally take... can you give me the link so that I can check it up again.. cos I had come across two calender sometimes before...

Preeti, I' m sure everyone actively participating in this board and love to be friends for long term will definetly share the gender of their loving baby. How abt you? I' m actually completing my 16th week, guess you' ll be arnd 14th rite?

Twinkle, according to chinese calendar it' s boy for me. Hope and pray for your wish to come true! You will be asked to schedule for that U/S arnd your 20th week or so. Till then hold on and keep praying!

Well said Daisy, it is a wonderful group! Hope you will be all excited planning for the party. Convey my loving birthday wishes to your lil princess. I guess she' ll be turning 3 rite?!

Last pregnancy I lost almost 9 kgs in first 3 months and I don' t remember if I had gained much weight, as you know I had so many complications. And even this time I didn' t gain any weight at all till last month and my previuos vist I found I lost a pound. So started to cook weel and eat well. It' s really becomming hrad sometimes to cook and do all other stuff too, can' t find time. I' m sure you would have gained weight by your next visit as the baby' s growth will be dramatically doubled after the thrid month.

i' ll definately find out the gender of my baby & share it with this board.according to chinese calender, i' ll be having a girl.lets see....i would love to have a girl.....
i have no idea when my big u/s will be scheduled.i' m waiting to hear from my doctor...

Nice to hear about your wonderful experience:-) How far along are you? I went for my appointment last thursday and i heard the heartbeat, it was 151bpm.

I have scheduled an ultrasound at 19 weeks on 24th of Aug. to find out the gender:-) and really excited about it. My question is how many of us are going to share it on this board?
