I heard that excess vitamin A intake in pregnancy can cause serious birth defects. My questions is eating baby carrots (I like to eat that a lot for snacks) will cause any defcts to my baby? and also is yoplait yogurt is safe to eat during pregnancy?

Dear First trimester,
it's not fair to go by brands, yogurt is needed and safe while pregnant. I would suggest to make your own Curds if possible than buying yogurts. Any brand should be fine.

about vitamin A. I don't think eating some carrot will be a trouble, keep in limit though. Yes, excess vitamin A is not good for fetus, you can take double the dose of vitamin A given by your Dr. but can't exceed to triple. I don't know how much vitamin A would be in baby carrot with reference to amount you are eating, should be safe however. Talk to your Dr.

It depends where u stay actually
If u are on the west coast then KK wont be far else if u stay near jurong there are many hosp for kids there
