Dear All!

Now-a-days, I can feel the baby movement and kicks with her/ his tiny feet. Sometime I also feel that baby is roaming inside.. all over the tummy.

I have a worry! I am not sure when and how often I am supposed to feel the baby movement. Today, I am on 20 week 5 days. From yesterday onwards I haven't felt the movement much. Not a sigle movement I felt from this morning. Is it normal? The day before, baby was very active inside. Now this suddent silence is actually making me worry. We went for 20th week u/s 5 days back and everything looked ok. I have an appt with my doc next week. Should I wait till then or contact her asap?

Further, the colour of urine for last 3 / 4 days is yellowish. Is it because of iron and calcium supplement i am taking? I also had a urine and blood test at the same time. Haemoglobin was 10.2 gm%. Urine sugar and urine albumin was nil.

If any one can let me know is it normal to have the baby silence for more than 12 hours, I will be grateful. Tweetie replied. Hi Niti,

Last time when I went to the dr. he told me specifically that there will be days when I might not feel any baby movements at all, and this is quite normal until week 24 or so. So what you are experiencing is very normal. I too don't feel my son some days. Some days he is very active.
So be happy, take good care of yourself and take good rest too!

Dont worry it does happen with me too ...these weeks the baby can be hyper active some days and some days its very dull...as from 21st week to the 24 week the growth is slightlu slow..after 24th week it will grow rapidly again,and that time u will againstart getting the same feeling...dont worry..and anyways u have a appointment with the doc next week so u will be relived that time...more over u are a busy person working and with all ur work i think u havent noticed the slight movements thru out the day...dont worry...realx and dont over stress urself this week...take care savita replied. I am going through the same phase as yours. Someday I feel very strong movements and subsequent day none. But this is not a cause of worry since at first the fetal kicks you notice will be few and far between. In fact, you may feel several movements one day and then none the next. Although your baby is tossing and turning regularly, many of his jerks and jolts aren't yet strong enough for you to feel. But by 28 weeks those reassuring kicks will become stronger and more regular. Don't worry if your experience differs from your friends'. Every fetus has its own pattern of activity and development, and there is no correct one.
In regard to your test reports , this is good that urine sugar and protein(albumin) are nil . You are doing wonderful and evrything seems to be normal in your case. However, you can increase intake of iron in order to increase hemoglobin.
