Hi All
I am in my 22nd week, and suffering with flu from last week I have consulted with my gyne also regarding this she prescribed DOLO 650 and Ben drill syrup, also she recommended rest i have followed her advice. I have taken off from office for 2 days.but now again i am back to work.
now since it's four days over and i also stopped medicine but i still have cold and cough is also there.
I am really very worried what to do please advise me. is some home remedies are available that can comfort me

mostly you have got an allergy will subside this cold/cough in about 10 days. there is no need to worry common cold won't affect baby. don't however ignore if you get fever alogn with cough and cold.

dont worry abt ur cold and cough.. my doc told me that it is commmon for preg women to get that as the mucous membranes expand during pregnancy. but keep ur cough in check by taking cough syrups with ur doc's advice and since cough usually is very bad in the night when u lie down, u can take warm milk with a little turmeric before going to bed to soothe ur throat. it really helps in keeping cough away, and also have warm milk in a flask by ur bedside when u go to sleep and use it whenever u feel like coughing and it will definitely help. cold should not b a problem unless it is accompanied bya fever. if u develope a fever pls contact ur doc and bring down the temp somehow. hope everything becomes well with u soon. take care
