Due Date Club July 2007:Columbia Asia Hospital

Name: Niroopa Hello,
I' m in my 8th month and going to have to change my Gynae. The one I' m seeing right now does not visit Columbia Asia and I am not going to be able to go to Manipal.

Can any one suggest a good Gynae who goes to Columbia Asia? I don' t mind going to a private clinic around Indiranagar area.
Any experiences at Columbia Asia?
Does the hospital support epidurals?

Appreciate any and all suggestions.

private clinic in indira nagar

Dr Asha Iyer has clinic under the name : indiranagar speciality center in indiranagar. I have been visiting her throughout my pregnancy. I find her really good. She visits St. Philomina hospital and santosh hospital. Also visits a nursing home in indiranagar itself.

Columbia Asia Hospital

Hi,

I am in my Week 27 and I am refering to Dr Poonima Ramesh in Columbia Asia.I am satisified with her.She is available on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12 to 4.Other then Columbia she is a visiting doc in Mallya and Manipal North west hospital.Her clinic is in Malleswaram and she is there all days from 5.30pm to 8.30 pm.I came to know about her through one of my colleague.
Are you staying in north Bangalore?If yes which area.

Hi Moni,

i suppose your kid must be around 5 now. hope you are doing well.

I have due for my 2nd one now. I have thought of consulting Dr Poornima Ramesh at Columbia Asia. How was your experience with her? Mainly i wanted to know if she encourages normal delivery? Was yours normal or c-section?

your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I actually live near off airport road. My parents live in Yelahanka. Since my husband suddenly got posted out, I have had to replan my hospital and doctor.

I´ ll go meet Dr.Poornima Ramesh.

My wife has put me in charge of short listing her doctor and the hospital. My wife is currently 24 months pregnant and we have been spending this time in Pune. So I am sort of impressed with Dr Chitra Ramamurthy after reading a lot of reviews about her... So How was your experience with her...? and how was the experience with Apollo Hospitals?
