Hi,

I am in my second trimester (23rd week) of my pregnancy. Last weekend I went to a show and it had really loud music and drum beatings. I got worried and walked out of the show after 10mins. But I am now wondering that even if listening to such a loud music for 10mins harm my baby's ears?
Because I could feel the baby kicking and moving vigoursly after me listening to loud music. Please help....any inputs appreciated...

Thanks a lot for the clarification Archie. I was really worried about that, because the drum beats were really really loud even for our ears. I was feeling so bad when my baby was moving vigoursly after that.

Dear aug05mom,
It's not surprising that your baby did respond to loud voice/music, they do at this stage.
No, listening loud music for 10 minutes is less likely to affect baby. But if you continue to listen loud volumes on regular basis then sure it is likely to affect.
For the moment no worries:-)
