Trying since long:To Archie

1. I did sonogram this week and found out that having small size ovarian cyst in my left ovary. I am planning for IVF in Oct month's cycle. My question is to you: Should I go for BCP from this cycle (right now I am on 4days of my cycle) or I can go from the Sept month cycle? If I go for BCP on Sept month and if Dr Wants to start IVF medicine 7 days prior to my Oct month cycle, can I do both thing on Sept month like go for BCP and can start IVF medication on day 21.

I want to share another experience with you.

2. I went for two unsuccessful IUI. During this procedure I took BCP for one cycle for cyst. After that in my first IUI I released one egg only but on second time I released two eggs with the 100 mg Clomid on both cycle. I'm worried that if I go for BCP for long time I might not respond to medicine on first cycle of IVF.

I will appreciate any suggestion on these issues.

I already read that post and my earlier experience with the cyst, that's why this issue came in my mind. I am planning IVF in India. I am not regularly in touch with the Dr in India. They just told me reach to India a month in advance before IVF. Before IUI my RE put me on BCP for cyst. That's why I was thinking might need to go again for BCP before IVF and that stupid thought came: due to BCP only I released one egg in first IUI. Now I can take BCP without any second thought.
Archie, thanks for your generous service.

Anupama,
I have given comments on bcp and ivf to asha on her post addressed to me on 22nd august, check that out.

IVF is not miracle and I know cases where they failed 3 rounds. What's most important while doing these expensive tests is to keep yourself healthy, positive and balance in life. Any negativity, health disturbance and unhealthy lifestyle is going to hit failure. I know cases who have hit success with IUI and IVF, both. But they were positive about themselves and procedures.

I think last both round of IUI you have had success of ovulation and to be honest with your IUI would only increase chances of conception by 5-8% and not making 100%, so again one has to be positive and believe in procedure.

Good luck
Archie

Hi Everyone,

We have been married for the last 12 years. We are trying for a baby but unfortunately every time it's disappointing. I had 3 abortion, 2 Ectopic pregnancy, 1 IUI failure and 2 IVF failures. I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
