Hi Archie/Everybody,

I have a question.
We r ttc for some time.My cycles are 31 day long and my last period was on 31st july.Yesterday(29th aug) i saw some pinkish discharge two times when I wiped so i thought my period has started and today there is nothing. I'm not sure can it be implantation bleeding?? When can one have implantation bleeding( i mean around what days) .
Also Generally before my periods i have severe cramps...But this month I don't have severe cramps...Just small cramps now and then.

As per my cycle I should have had ovulation on 16th or 17th and on 17th I felt pain on lower right abdomen. So as per those dates its late to have Imp. Bleeding on 29th but I just want to be positive as in case...

I don't have my periods yet and also my breasts are hurting a little bit(but that could be becoz of my periods too). Let me wait for some days and 'll let u all know what haapened. archie replied. dear saniya,
I am in dilema as to what advise should I offer.

if your cycles are very regular and are of 31 days then one would have expected implantation to take place around 23 or 24th of august and you would experience what you experience on those days. Although seems like an implantation bleeding I am not very confident.

True that for some reason you might have delayed ovulation and also delayed implantation, which is common and what you experienced on 29th august indeed was an implantation bleeding -but again as said above not very confident.

It's however true that if you have had implantation bleeding on august 29 then you are not going to experience period at all so do not expect period that means stay positive.

how early could you test, can you on sept 1 or sept 2nd. I would say NO. One must wait for a complete week following implantation and if you want to treat spotting on august 29 as implantation bleeding then wait until spetember 6th to take hpt.

on sept 7th you could take hpt with first morning urine.

if that was not implantation you will know before spetember 7th for sure.

I would say without any other symptoms I am in difficult position to judge your case. I recommend you full bed rest for next 7 days.

U cud be pregnant. It could be implantation bleeding, am not much sure abt. it. Try HPT by the 1st or the 2nd September. Else you can also go to ur Gynac and chek the same out.
