I went for GTT (Glucose tolerance test).
And the result for it fasting and 1 hour is fine within range but its higher in case of 2 hour test.
the limit for 2 hour test should be below 140 but my reading is 147.
Spoke to my doc she says its ok.
Has anybody got this kind of reading?Does it mean I have developed Gestional Diabetis?
Any body knowing anything about this please respond.

hi stuti... don worry .. things r normal with u... actually even i was asked to repaet glucose test cos my post prandial was high...
so had undergone gtt.. n values turned to b normal with me..
jus a few value range high seems okie.. don panic.. try n avoid sweets n sugary stuff.. my gynac asked me to replace sugar by jaggery..... don worry... take care...

I have due for my 2nd one now. I have thought of consulting Dr Poornima Ramesh at Columbia Asia. How was your experience with her? Mainly i wanted to know if she encourages normal delivery? Was yours normal or c-section?
