I am in dilema..pl need ur advice..
I had lost my job during my pregnancy and now have started looking for new one..I wish to do a part time job so tht I can take care of 2 kids and home..but here in this part of world where ME and MSC are considered equivalent and they prefer bilinguals it has become difficult task to find a new job with my preferences...I am adviced tht I should be after every possible opening ... even secretary's position... I miss my days in India when colleges were running after me I was offered HOD's post of one of leading engg college in Mumbai...here even a school teacher's job is difficult that too with more overheads than actual income..I am doing ok with tuitions..but then astitva??? what I shud do? continue trying for job or just take longgggggggg break...its already 9/10 months and u know how computer world is fast changing..
Second advice I want is I keep both children to baby sitter plus transport..I am spending enough but still dont know about job current status for me...offers which I get is very low...I shud catch one and start or wait for good one ..without meeting ppl frequently...so saving time and money?also it upsets their feed schedule..
also for each diff type of job I have to master diff skill...so I cannt be master of all...

Preeti VA replied. Instead of going for a job that does not utilizes your expertise, can you spend some time and learn the language?

I believe aperson of your caliber (HOD) can get thru this hurdle easily.

At the end of day you would be working in your field just in diff language. If you could plan this proerly then you dont have to worry about the second issue. Just give 100%
