i am going to get married in march..mine is a love marr..my guy says he loves his mom as much as he loves me..thats ok..my MIL is also ok kind..infact good only..but i want to make sure that i stay separately after marriage.i dont even mind if we are close by but not the same house!!! how do i hint this to my hubby.as of now atleast for the first 2 years he does plan to stay alone but i dont want them with us even after that say for the next 10 years.she is just 53 now.Plzz give me suggestions as to how to tell him this gg replied. dont tell him anything right now...anyways ur living seperate ...then first get mrrd...that is mmore imp right now... Thank God your future husband agreed to stay at a separate house than your MIL. 2 years is a long time, and you know Time will only tell.

Take what you have and if your hubby desides to let his mom join the two of you, by then I am sure your relationship with her is 200% better. *fingers crossed*

Who knows people do change. You might even be one of those lucky person that is blessed with the most caring MIL that will also respect your privacy. *hugs*

I think best way to do is be straight and tell him you wish to have your own place from day one... once you start living together.... it will be very difficult.. and she is young so no problems her livign alone either.
Start telling him from now so by March your new place is ready.
