Hi all,

I know by now all regular members of this group will be busy interacting thru Orkut.
I was just thinking.....we all came to know each other thru this site. And we have learnt so much by reading other ppl' s messages. I have even seen messages in Orkut, wherein ppl mention this site, particularly Hetal' s messages.
So, dont we owe it to other users to come back to this lovely site, and get back to messaging from here itself.

Orkut is a sea of information, while Indiaparenting is a small community dedicated just to Indian parents.
Orkut is a part of google, which in turn is a product of an American mind.
IP is a dream by an Indian, dedicated for Indians.

It' s just a suggestion that we get back to IP in order to help other moms out there.

Maybe you ppl wont agree with what I am saying.....

I totally agree wid wat KT n Roops have said... I really have found gud ppl here in IP and made frnds wid them thru Orkut...Its thru IP tht we have discussed so many issues n now we thot y not know each other personally on a bigger frame...Also we haven' t forgotten IP, we still visit this n if possible we do discuss at this forum too...

P.S. Hey btw Indian or American, Y don u acknowledge the fact that we humans have come so far in globalization and don tell me that u don use orkut...Am not here to attack or defend anyone but Y discourage something that is happening so well dear...So chillax buddy.... Roops replied. Hii Renu, KT has already said almost everything that i wanted to say..
we thot Orkut wud be a next step in getting to know each other better...frankly speaking, i have made such good friends here and interacting with them on Orkut has taken our friendship to next levels...

The content that we post is here is open to everyone who has access to internet...so at one point of time, the info that you cud share becomes limited, whereas we have made our orkut community private and only members can see what is posted. Also, since we are the owners, we can make sure only genuine people join our community..

KT replied. Hey Renu... sorry if not using frequently of IP has hurt you, but we have not left IP. If it was so then Roops or Supriya or I would haven’t replied to anyone’s messages...
I am very very thankful to IP that I got to met so nice and wonderful frds thru it.
But at the same time there are some limitations. Let me explain some of them to u:

1. We are able to see our IP frds and lil ones snaps on orkut which is not possible in IP.
2. We had set privacy there and only the members are able to see the topics but IP is an open book.
3. We had asked some other moms to join who' s baby were born in jul,aug and sep 2007 and were not on IP.. So getting lots of helpful tips from them.
4. U can ask the members to poll for some topics.
And many...

At the same time we are also connected to IP and every post on IP is seen by us... and I hope the other moms agree with me...
I know don’t know but during pregnancy IP was not only the discussion boards that I joined.. I had joined lot many where I used to discuss my prob and same way now I am discussing my prob and exp on other sites which includes IP and orkut.
Now what else can I say.
Join our community and c the diff...
Do you not want to c that who is KT,Roops, Sunita, Supriya, Dhoop bharish and all other and there sweet lil ones. I want to c u and Mayank. You were the one to whom I discussed my problem for 2-3 months in the starting when no one was posting on Aug board. We will be happy to have you on orkut. IP will always be there and we will associate with it as usual.
One more thing Renu...
My son was not eating anything or u can say I didn’t know what could I give him to eat... and from our orkut baby club I got to know actually what are things which can b given to a 10 month old baby and now I m giving him variety of food items and he is loving it...
