My baby was born on 29th Sept 2006 .For the first two months his skin was ok but now it feels very dry and i can feel the dryness more on his thighs. I apply linseed oil and haldi before bath since 11th day.Please let me know if this dryness is because of the season.

most babies skin becomes abit rashy or wrinkled,,after 2months out of the womb,,untilnow thr skin was in water and now its in open air ! its bound to happen,,,
ask your dr for safer cold cream and it will take care of everything. be careful before applying ne other thing,,stop the linseed oil and haldi,,its not required at all ! your baby is 2-3months and needs only simple lubircation of either olive/sesame/coconut/groundnut(if not allergic tonuts)/almond(if not allergic to nuts)/mustard oil or ne ordinary edible but pure oil !!
even if you use linseed oil,,haldi is not required !
why you want to put something that is not required..
apply as light lubrication that is required for massage or moving your fingrs thru baby body and dont add ne other things.
if the dryness is not treated well, it might lead to rashes so keep it clean, and apply a light baby moisturizer as of now,,,and if your baby skin seems to be fine,,you might not require dr recmndatns for ne cold cream,,however if i were you, i would definately give a call to my dr and ask about cream i can use for cold season !!!
mostly because baby skin moisture levels are different and not all creams are good for all babies,,,some babies were not comfortable with johnson and johnson and others had rashes with the same,,,so its better to ask your dr about one, that he thinks will work for your child-the best...
until thn,give your child bath with mildest soap or baby wash instead of soap, even baby dove or dove soap or wash or johnson and johnson baby wash works great...
avoid too much of rubbing,,pat dry your baby with soft towel,,leave the skin for some 1min in open air,,let it breathe fresh air and thn apply light moisturzr,,and thn cover him nicely with 100% cotton liners and clothes,,or wrap him...
apply moisturzr if needed, again or after 2-3hours,,repeatedly but apply light thats the key !
