Hi,
we were blessed with baby SAI on 13th may evening. His birth story goes like this,
I went for my appointment with the doctor on Monday may 11th and doctor said that that baby has not come down yet but still she would like to induce me same night as baby was getting bigger. So I got admitted on 11th night at 8 pm and they started me with cytotek to thin cervix. After 1 hour I had dilated 1.5 cms and they said they will let me dilate on my own till morning and then start with pitocin. I had some contractions on my own till 5 am and then they started pitocin. I dilated another half a cm by 8.30 am. My doctor came at 9.30 and and broke my water bag and said that should make my labour fast and asked nurses to keep increasing pitocin amount. My contractions became intense and I had to take epidural after that. But God had something different in his mind. Until 6 pm in the evening I dilated only 6 cms. My doctor came again at 8 pm and said I was still 6 cms and we should not wait any more and go for c-section as my water was ruptured for more than 9 hrs...We agreed and they took me to OR and SAI was delivered by 8.52 pm. Both of us are doing fine and were discharged from hospital today....
