Due Date Club May 2008:My little doll is here

Name: Ana Hello all, after so much of anxiety and wait, we finally have been blessed with a little sweet angel baby girl. We' ve named her Manya.
The story in brief goes like this. My due date was 9th and honestly I had no signs of labot till that date, no contractions, no discomfort and nothing. I had simultaneous appointments on 8th and 9th to check NST and Cervix however only a slight improvement was there. Doctor advised to wait for a few more days before inducing. On 9th evening I had a bit of show, I called up the doctor and she called me immediately. Thankfully my husband was home so we rushed there and after a few checkups I was admitted to the hospital. Slowly and slowly I started getting contractions, they started becoming intense and regular. By 9:00 PM they were so strong and unbearable but unfortunately my cervix wasn' t dialating well. My husband was so worried and anxious looking at my painful face but was helpless. I had to bear severe pains for 6 hours and then finally at 11:30, Doctor advised to go for c-sec as there is no improvement in labor. At 12:30 my little Manya came into the world and believe me or not as soon as I looked at her face lying on the bed in OT, I forgot all pains and preassures I went through. She is so sweet and cute. My husband always wanted to have a little girl to play with and I am glad that I could fulfill her wish. That very moment changed the entire life to both of us. Now we live and love every moment for our Manya. I hope and pray all other moms to be and already moms are doing fine with their little ones.
