Hi All,.
Did ur doctor asked u for Triple Market Test?? This test is generally done between 16-20 weeks of pregnancy to check Down' s Syndrome.
I did my test today and result will be available after 4-5 days. Keeping Fingers crossed!!!

There are 2 tests first one done in the 12-14 week which is double marker test to check for Down Syndrome and then the other is Triple Marker test done in 15-20 weeks. As per my doc, the Triple marker test should be done if there is any high probability visible in Double marker test. My double marker test had a probability of 1:10000, so I have not done my Triple test, anyone has any more info on this.

Hi All,
I got my triple marker report and all is normal :) Dipi is right that doctor has made it mandatory for all even though its required for 35 plus women,
Now, next target is scan on 20th week which is still 2 weeks away.

Hi , Its normally done for pregnancies above 35 yrs of age to check for down syndrome, but I guess doctors have taken this up as a routine test now a days. For me it was done around 12 weeks . It was normal. Wish you luck

My test is scheduled sometime next week.. I was wondering if this a routine test for expectants below the age of 30 also?..is there any reason for doing the test if you are under 30?
Please share your inputs.
