Hi

I want to go home for delivery. By trains it take 24hrs and flight 3 hrs.
Can i travel in the first week of the 9th month of pregnancy. Till what time is it safe to travel?
Is flight safe or train in 9th month?

Hi ds,
i will be traveling during my 32th week as much a distance as given by you.i am traveling from delhi to kerala.
during my last pregnancy also i traveled the same distance by train and this time i am flying as they allow us to fly during this stage unlike last time.i am going by indian airines and they allow to fly till 35 weeks without medical certificate(still carry one if you can)and after that up to 37 or 38 weeks by carrying a medical certificate.you can read airlines policy guidelines to be sure about your choice of airline.
if everything is fine with you,in my opinion air travel is best in terms of time,cleanliness and overall convenience.
do talk to your doctor before booking though.
