My baby is still in breech position and i have a scheduled C-section on 18th Feb. Have an appointment on monday 14th. if the baby has turned by then, then i would have a normal delivery, but the doctor also mentioned that the chances of turning by then is less. getting excited but a bit scared too..Pls pray for me that the amniotic bands i have doesnt affect my baby .
Rgds,
Anitha.

Usha replied. Hi anitha
Dont worry & get tensed , its not good for the baby, dont worry abt the c-section, you have to just stay calm & relaxed, take care of your BP as thats very imp, planned C-section is best in your case, I was able to walk & carry on things on my own in 3 days , you will have no pain also once you have the baby in your arms, all the best
take care

Archie replied. Dear Anitha,
Do not worry so much. C-section could be painful to deal with if that's an emergency but planned C-section is always better as you are mentally prepared.
I am certain that amniotic bands won't interfere at all and perhaps this is best option for your case.
Think this way on Feb 18 you will hold your littleone and cuddle him/her and smile in his/her eyes. When this baby will grow and start responding your pain of C-section will fade by itself.
I had an emergency C-section and today I have almost forgotten about it when I look at him.

i guess you and me are sailing in the same boat.My doc has scheduled a c-section on the 17th and before she does the c-section she will do the ultrasound to see last time if baby has changed position.
i do not know where you are located i am in new jersey usa.i guess we should prepare ourselves mentally for the d-day.
I had one ultrasound on the 3rd when I came to know that the baby is in breech position and according to the reports my amniotic fluid is good which she said was 12.8 (i don't know exactly what the figures mean)but she said it was good.and the baby is doing fine.
So lets hope for the best!!!Good luck and keep writing.
