Hi Meena,
As 2ndtmom has suggested....try to go in for an emergency appointment, they will do a vaginal ultrasound and so u will be able to listen to your baby's heartbeat.I had vaginal u/s last week ,it was my 7th week.
Don't worry.Everything will turn out well.

Dear Meena,
I think the Dr. might just be missing the baby's heartbeat as in the early stages its really very difficult to hear it properly.
Infact at week 16 also Dr. had a gr8 difficulty finding my baby's heartbeat but U/S showed it perfectly. I'm sure that must be ur case too. I know it makes one very anxious....so please don't worry too much. Il pray for u.

Dear Meena,

It's may be just what 2ndtmom and Geetha told you.

Go ahead and have ultrasound done. Some transvaginal ultrasound, a type of pelvic ultrasound, help determining location of pregnancy and also allow you to hear hearbeat.

In some cases having fetus little too small at early stages makes difficult for some Drs. to find heartbeat with Doppler.

You did not mention as to how many weeks you are along.

Have this ultrasound done and know the truth.

Dear meena
Don't worry! I am sure everything is fine with ur baby. The same thing happened to my friend also. As the baby is so tiny at this point, it is sometimes difficult to detect the heartbeat. So don't worry! Keep a calm mind. Go for an u/s as soon as possible. I am sure u'll come out with a happy face. My prayers r with u!
