hi girls..

i went for my doc's appointment yesterday.. all is going well and
again he did not do any internal examination.. he goes it is not
needed.. but the hands only he told me that baby has moved down
quite alot...... my BP is fine..

He checked the heart beat and all is well with baby.. but for some
days i have been having really less baby movements so i asked him
and he said i must have atleast 10 and if not then i need to go for
a proper movement scan... so he told me that if the baby does not
move then have ice and lie down and feel the baby moving.. if still
no movement then go the hospital to get the scan done..

i have started feeling hte movement a little but i think i will
still go for the scan today... to be sure...

i asked my doctor about if the baby does not come by the due date
nad he said he will ask to be induced in 41 week.. which is starting
of 21st feb.. he told me that it is better to wait as first time
deliveries if induced can result in c-section in 40% of the cases..
so it is better to wait...

so now it is just waiting game..

how is everyone else doing? any indication of labour coming to
anyone?

First babies always tend to arrive a bit late. And the due date is just an approx. date so you may go well past it or deliver earlier who knows! Although I'm sure you would love to deliver on 14th after all it is Valentine's day!

Don't stress too much about internal check up, I'm sure your doctor knows what he is doing.

You still have 10 days for your due date , so just relaxed. I was also doing the same, counting day by day , and suddenly contraction starts and i deliver baby just one week before my due date.

Enjoy and relax as much as you can now, after that you have to enjoy only sleepless nights.:-))
