Hi archie

I had my scan done today, they say the baby has cord around the neck & I need to go for C-section only, is this true ?

Im trying to get prepared for C-section , but just wanted to know if C-section is must , otherwise everything is normal, my BP is 120/80, foetal HB is good & also the baby movements are also good.

can you tell me what exactly happens in c-section, this is my first pregnancy & I really tensed about it.

Hey dont worry Usha....it is agood option to take coz a normal delivery would create a risk of tightening the cord. C section is not all bad you know...Just means you have to take care of yourself a little more.

Be calm and remain positive. Your baby needs you to be strong and keep in control. All the best.

Apparently if the cord is around the baby's neck its advisable to go in for a c-section, take a second opinion!

Hi Usha,
If cord is around the neck, there is no other alternative. One of my friend also went for C-section b/c of cord ard the neck.

Don't worry everything will be alright.I also had C-section.

So when are u planning to go for it?

KK hospital i find is the best in singapore also cheap
It depends where u stay actually
If u are on the west coast then KK wont be far else if u stay near jurong there are many hosp for kids there
