Dear all,

I just had my scan done - reports normal. Hope you also had this done as it is kind of mandatory now at the completion of 5th month.

My baby' s weight is around 350 gms which is less compared to a normal 500 gms at this gestation period. I was sad hearing this. But my gyn said it happens sometimes and baby gains weight in the weeks to come.

So my diet is being carefully watched by my husband now. Just at the mention of green leafy vegetables, he brought around 5 kgs of spinach :)

I was passive on this post for a while since there was no activity...
Well I have also been through the scan and everything seems normal. The baby is very active and i can feel it ..especially during night he/she is very active.
Glucose t. was also done and it went okay too.
I am having severe pain in my groin like the third trim' r although I am only in the 6th month the doc says it is the baby' s pressure and is normal.

I have bought a couple of nursing bras now itself and I am using them. Coz of the increased size of the breasts.

Yes,the board is not very active.I think we all should try and post some message frequently to keep this board happening...
Its nice to know that your scan and GCT went fine.I will be doing the test next week when i will be 24 weeks pregnant.which week r u now?and how was the test?Is it done in the morning?

Hi ,
It was nice to see the post.And your hubby' s gesture is very sweet.It made me smile while reading it.
It feels so good when your hubby pampers you,no?I am also getting similar treatment from my hubby and in laws(who came for a visit recently) and i am really enjoying them:)
And don' t worry,as your gynae said,everything should be okay.Just concentrate a bit more on the diet.You had morning sickness initially,no?that can also be a reason for the low weight.
My visit to my gynae is pending.I will be going today evening.
Rest all fine.

baby movements

Hi Soumya,
Yes,I can feel strong movements now,and also from the upper parts of the stomach.I can see my stomach moving even from outside my clothes.and it hurts at times,though lightly.
My hubby also feels the movements by keeping his hands on my tummy.but to see them as ball like projections like i could last time,i think i need to wait...
And yes,my visit to gynae went fine.she has suggested me a glucose tolerance test to check if i have gestational diabetes.Its a routine test..will have to do it at 24 weeks.did you check the same?

I feel movements strongly now but not very clearly for others.
