Well,the whole yesterday i didn't feel any movements.I tried drinking cold milk and lying on my left for sometime.But that also didn't help me.Today morning too ?I couldn't feel any,so I called my doc office and as they told went for heartbeat check.Nursing assistant Tried in one side and couldn't get any ,other than my heartbeat.Oh my goodness!I got scared to death!Then she tried the other side and there my baby was!Beating healthly and hiding for whole one day to scare poor mum!She told that at this period of gestation(i'm in my 21st week)this is common not to feel significant movements,but it's always reassuring to go and get a heartbeat check if you have any doubt.

Thank God everything is fine with the baby. We should keep in mind what Archie has told. It happened to me a week back. I sometimes feel I should go ahead and buy the heartbeat listening device that they sell in market, just for our peace of mind. Does anybody know how much it costs...?

Before week 23 or week 24 often movements are erratic and irregular. They will become stronger and regular between week 26 to week 31 and in many cases from week 32 they are reduced primarily due to insufficient space in uterus to move and secondly baby experience more sleeping. That's where you need to worry if not noticed movements in six hours or so.

Hi ! I had movement yest. 9.0 in the morning then no moves whole day. I was too worried and was planning to go to the doc. today morning ,but again baby started moving a lot same time today. I am in my 19th week and I think all of us are having the same exp. but always better to check with doc! 2ndtmom replied. awwww.. Im glad that now u r fine.. it is scary.. actually I was thinking of calling my doc today as for 3-4 days Im not feeling any movement at all.. no matter what I try its nothing.. then I try to think that this is normal.. my appointment is on friday so try to wait till then..
