Hi All
Am in my 38th week, just waiting for the d-day.
had my check up with the doc. yesterday, she has asked me to come only on my due date (5thFeb.), unless I have some emergency. I am now worried, as I have not started experiencing any symptoms of delivering.
did not even have any internal exam., doc. said she will do it on 5thFeb.
i don't even seem to have lot of contractions. earlier doc. said I might deliver earlier than the delivery date.
please suggest.

My due date is also on Feb 5th, i am in my 38th week. I had my regular doctor's visit yesterday, my Obgyn did do a very basic internal exam (which seemed more of a formality to me). She did not think i had any dilation yet. She did say that I am full term, so I can have the baby anytime now.
I feel fine, occasional back ache now and then (mostly at bed time), no contractions.
I think I will deliver around my due date, I am taking care of my health, keeping an eye on baby movements. Other than that, there isn't much we can do but wait. So I suggest, don't worry, just eat well, and rest, and wait for the D day.

Don't worry Madhavi. IS this your first baby. I went throught the same during my first delivery. My doc waited for 4 days post my due date and then advised to have Castor Oil. With that i went into labour immediately. However inspite of being in labour for 16 hours, i didnot have any dilation. I finally had a CSection. Dont worry at times the baby comes late. My baby was delivered in 9 months 13 days. U take care....... Vandana

KK hospital i find is the best in singapore also cheap
It depends where u stay actually
If u are on the west coast then KK wont be far else if u stay near jurong there are many hosp for kids there
