hi guys..

guess what? i went to mum's place yesterday and there it was.. a big bowl of \";pangiri\"; waiting for me.. and i askeed what is this.. and mum said.. this is something you have to start eating from now on .. and continue after delivery.. mum said i have to have 2-3 spoons of it every day.. ;)

it is made of atta, dry fruits and ghee.. it is yummy as well as i had to satisfy her and had one teaspoon... ;)

also... she instructed me to have almonds every morning... is anyone else having the same? pangiri and almonds... ;)

i wanted to share this new addition to my diet... ;)

love to you and your little wonders!

almonds i have started having which are soaked in water.. hubby is quite religiously givign this to me.. ;)

how are you all doing? heaps of kicking and movements... ;)

acha take care and keep in touch..

As far as I know you should eat panjiri only after delivery. I had this conversation wih my mom and she said not to eat it before delivery as it is suppose to be too garam and not good for you while in pregnancy.
Take care

Hi Supriya,

As for almonds yes u need to take them every morning now. i take with milk. in the initial months u have them without skin but now u can have them as it is - powdered in hot milk.

Panjiri i think u take it after delivery. My mon has not insisted on it yet but i know for sure that i have to take it afterwards. u can take 4 spoonfulls in a day and avoid having it before sleep.

chalo take care

love to the little one
bye
