Thanks to all of you for your replies. So now I have decided that I am not going to have this desi ghee thing. Actually my doc had also advised me against it but you know Moms.

Well I am living in Delhi and work in a private firm. Will definitely join ur yahoo group soon.

And as u ladies said, it’s a personal choice to buy clothes now or not. U see I have to manage it all alone and cant arrange for old clothes. So I have bought some stuff, which I would need immediately and later on my mom can take over.

And Hey Hana would be great if our babies come on the same date. My doc says the baby can arrive any day after 5th feb and I don’t know what to expect since its my first baby.

Thanks Nisha, I am lucky, most people tend to like my name ….My pains have stopped now and I joined office today. Doing fine till now. Hope it stays this way.

Niti, I would definitely send an e- mail to be included in your yahoo gp. Problem is I cant access yahoo from my office. But I would do that from home.

Niti Hana replied. Yes Tamanna it would be great if our babies arrived on the same day. I am hoping I deliver on 23rd because it's also my brother's birthday.

Last week I had my last scan to see the position of my placenta since it had been a bit low at my 20th week scan.

As far as baby shopping goes I would advise you to shop for the essential items before the baby is born eg. baby cot, car seat, nappies, receiving blankets etc.. Clothes wise all they wear in the beginning is sleepers and vests. And you will receive quite a few gifts too so don't buy too many outfits.

And this ghee eating is just an old wives tale. All it will do is settle on your hips. Long ago our grandmothers' made a connection that anything slippery would aid the baby coming out easier!!! Take care and enjoy your last few weeks.
