I have a 1 month old son. I would like to know whether breast pumps are really useful and from which month can we use them? I would be thankful if someone can suggest me on this. Satya replied. Hi Ranjini,

Breast pump is very much useful if you would want to start giving bottle to your baby. I started pumping and giving bottle since my baby was 4 weeks old. It really helps when you go for outings. I personally found it very useful. Reshma J replied. Hi Ranjini,
If you are working then breast pump is the most important thing you should have after diapers. Electric ones are good at work. Even if you are not working it is good to have a manual pump so that you can express milk and take it with you for outings or can even give the milk at home. By doing so you save lot of time. Different people might have different opinion. For me it is working as blessing since I am a working mom. You can start expressing milk the very next day of you delivery. You can also express the milk and store in the freezer for future use. You will get lot of info on how to store breast milk on net, medella or avent website. I hope this info helps you.
