I live in chennai, wanted to get this cut this time - would it look good on all face types ? last time I asked the barber to go short , however he used #1 blade in the clipper and also said that he is only going to touch the surface and not entirely use #1, hence it will not give shaven look at sides and back - I was also not sure if should ask him to reduce further , hence left it - but this time, i want to go for real cut - using #1 guard will cut close enough to give the real look or should I opt for #0 i.e. no attachment at all to clippers ? should I go for manual clippers to get the neat look ? not sure if there are barbershops close to my place that uses manual clippers though. Is there difference between manual and electric ones ? I told my girlfriend that she will see a new me in the next 2 days - hence pls answer for me to decide how high I should go and if it s hould be with no attachemnt - manual or electric.. My husband is having a military cut for a long time now. I really adore it as it looks very good on him. He gets it cut about 2 inches high on sides and back with electric clippers with #0 and about half inch on top.
I suggest you also go for a similar cut. What you need is confidence and not what others say.
